The cast iron teapot, also known as “tetsubin" in Japan, is a classical Japanese teapot made from sturdy cast iron. Cast ironware heats evenly and retains heat well and is praised worldwide for their beauty, strength, and superb quality. All of our cast iron teapots come with a trivet.

This small cast iron teapot reflects symmetrical beads on the surface depicting water drops. Teapot has 24 ounce capacity and is has a matte black outside finish with black enamel inside. Also includes a matching trivet.

Proper care of the cast iron teapots will ensure longevity and proper seasoning. Upon receipt, please rinse inside of teapot with warm water. We do not recommend using soap or any abrasive materials. After rinsing the pots, use a dry towel to remove any remaining moisture in pot. We do not recommend using this pot on a stovetop or for boiling water.
